Chiropractic adjustment

JOINT MANIPULATION

A controlled force that is applied hands-on to individual restricted joints of the spine and body to assist in the release of built-up gas.

Manipulation, or adjustment, of the affected joint and tissues helps to restore mobility, thereby alleviating pain/muscle tightness and allowing you to move more comfortably.

Smart tools soft tissue mobilization

IASTM

Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) is a skilled, hands-on technique using a properly designed stainless steel instrument to diagnose and treat soft tissue and joint injuries. It reduces pain, swelling, and inflammation, and increases range of motion and promotes healing of muscles to allow improved daily function.

PERCUSSION THERAPY

A deep vibration technique using a percussor with up to 2,000 strokes per minute that accelerates and enhances repair of muscle fiber by providing rapid bursts of pressure in concentrated, short-duration pulses deep into the tissues of the body. This enhances the flow of blood to different critical areas, allowing for pain relief and subsequently improving function and range of motion. It also provides a gentle stretch that in turn enhances flexibility, performance, and physical response during activities.

Tens therapy on knee

ELECTROTHERAPY

A controlled therapeutic stimulation of muscles that mimics the natural way the body contracts its muscles. Electrotherapy serves to reduce muscular spasm & pain, increase range of motion, manage atrophy, and re-educate proper muscle contraction post-injury to promote healing and recovery.

Kinesiology tape on knee and thigh

KINESEOTAPING

A waterproof and adhesive tape that serves to alleviate discomfort, reduce swelling and inflammation by microscopically lifting the skin to allow lymphatic drainage, relieve muscle spasm and cramping, speed recovery of overused muscles, support muscles and joints without limiting range of motion by unloading forces, and allow individuals to remain active while injured & recovering.

Cupping Therapy on lady face down

DRY CUPPING THERAPY

Cupping therapy utilizes special cups on your skin to create suction. As a result, it produces blood flow to localized areas that may help with reducing pain and inflammation & promoting relaxation, which helps improve daily function.

REHABILITATIVE
EXERCISE

A customized exercise program can help individuals return to their prior level of functioning, and encourage activities and lifestyle changes that can help prevent further injury and improve overall health and well being. LOW-LEVEL LASER THERAPY (LLLT)

LLLT is a device that produces a monochromatic, collimated, and coherent light. LLLT is a non-invasive light source treatment that generates a single wavelength of light. It emits no heat, sound, or vibration. Its use may accelerate connective tissue repair and act as an anti-inflammatory agent. Wavelengths between 660 nm and 905 nm have the ability to penetrate skin and soft tissues, which help to lessen pain, reduce inflammation, and promote tissue repair.
